Thoughts

The thing I love about reading books is when I imagine that story, when I become the character in the book. When I feel exact thing he feels. When he feels sad or confused, so am I. When you imagine these things you are in different world. When you are miserable you can take a book and read something that is beautifull or some happy-ending story and you can feel better. When the book is good, you don't want to stop reading it. You want to know what will happen. And interesting feeling is when you finish reading a book, you don't know what to do. You are still in the book's world. You don't want to exit it. But only the good books can make it.

But there were many books that I didn't like, for example "The Trial" by Kafka. It is about the trial of the main character who is occused of something but he can't find out of what. So he has a trial and what's more funny he is sentenced but he don't know what was his crime.... Another book I didn't like was "The Deluge" by Henryk Sienkiewicz. It is polish epopee so it is important for us to know this book. And of course Sienkiewicz is the Nobel prize winner so he is important for us. But the book has many characters and many plots and I think it is too hard for me to read or for any teenager. I think it might be a good story but you have to grow up to this. And I haven't yet... And there are many books that are similar to "The Deluge" and that is why students don't like them.

The Notebook

The Notebook
It wouldn't be a girl's blog about books if there wasn't any romance mentioned... And my favourite is "The notebook" by Nicolas Sparks. I also saw a movie first and then read a book but this is special one because this is the first book i read in original language... it is English of course... I acctually didn't understand all but it was a curious expirience and deffinitelly it won't be the last one. I am still working on my languages.
There are a lot of romances by Nicolas Sparks "The last song", "Dear John" which i also read and loved it. And there are many movies based on these books. But my favourite is "The notebook". It is about a high -born girl and a poor boy. They meet and fall in love from the first sight. They spend whole summer together. But holidays don't last forever and later she had to go to college. So she left and he promised her he will write to her. And he did. He wrote a letter every day. But she didn't get these because her mother took them from her because she didn't want her daughter to marry a poor boy without the future. So the girl thought he forget about her. But he didn't, both of them still loved each other. She met a new guy and she was to marry him, they were engaged. And then she saw old lover in a newspaper. She decided to meet him and ask why didn't he write to her, why did he forget about her. So he explained it wasn't true. And they were together again. But the book is in their future and this story is a retrospection. When they are old, the lady get sick and she didn't remember anything but that her name was Ally... She didn't remember Noah, her love and husband. So he meet her everyday and tell her he is Duke and he read her the notebook that she had wrote earlier about their story. And sometimes she remembere that it was her and his story but not always... I think it is a beautifull story.
